hello, everyone and everydoggie! guess who's birthday is today? yup. it's my birthday! mom let me write part one and she'll write part two with the recipe tomorrow. now, let me tell you how my day went. mom decided she was going to pretend she was a professional photographer and set up another photoshoot. as you can tell from my expression, i didn't want to be here, but i was only staying because mom had some treats in her hand.
i didn't want to sit down for this one. mom was lucky i allowed the party hat to be on my head. then along came rocket trying to steal my thunder. he's not even one yet, but he wanted to be in my photoshoot too! i have one question for rocket, where are your eyes??? anyway, don't worry i'll get him back though on his first birthday. mom's always got a photoshoot planned and i'm going to crash rocket's photoshoot.
my mom has such great taste! just look at this schnauzer garland, she knows i think schnauzer party decorations are the best!
this is what mom had on the table. gee, thanks mom, like i don't know i'm an adult now. i know i'm getting old, but you didn't have to remind me with this number one candle.
these are my pupcakes. at first i was little upset mom didn't put the frosting on. i was then even more upset because it was rocket's fault. she said rocket's tummy is not mature yet so we have to gradually introduce him to new foods. but, as soon as i tasted my pupcake, mom was forgiven because they were delicious! the bright fire stuff coming off my candle did frighten me a little and i ran away.
i knew today was really a special day when mom told dad it was okay to give me his pizza crusts. mom told dad since it's my birthday we can allow it for today. mom made dad stop giving me his pizza crusts and it made me sad. rocket got some pizza crust too, i don't like sharing dad's pizza crusts though. i used to get a whole one all to myself and now rocket gets a piece of it.
rocket 'helped' me open my present. he ripped off the ribbon and i opened up the box. my most favorite toy ever was in there, a bunch of balls! i don't think i can ever have too many of those! next year i'm going to 'help' rocket open his present too. ;)
